Saving recipes is easy. Turning them into a week of food is the part nobody teaches.

Shopping recipe by recipe means doubled ingredients and half-used groceries. Cooking them one at a time means chopping the same onion three times. Get Prepped plans the whole week as one job.

How it works

Four steps, from a pile of links to containers in the fridge.

  1. Save recipes from any link

Paste a link from a recipe site or food blog. Every recipe you save goes into your own library, ready for next week too.

  2. Choose your portions

Pick this week's meals and how many servings of each. Four lunches of burrito bowls and three curry dinners? Done.

  3. Shop one list, sized right

Ingredients from every recipe merge into one grocery list, scaled to your portions. You buy what the week needs, not extra that goes bad.

  4. Cook it all in one session

Step-by-step instructions batch the shared work. If three recipes need diced onion, you dice it all at once and split it.

Batch prep, explained

Three recipes. One cutting board.

Here's a real week of 10 meals. The ingredients the recipes share get prepped together, once.

Burrito bowls

4 servings
  • Long-grain rice1 cup
  • Yellow onion1
  • Black beans2 cans

Chickpea curry

3 servings
  • Yellow onion1
  • Chickpeas2 cans
  • Coconut milk1 can

Veggie fried rice

3 servings
  • Long-grain rice1½ cups
  • Yellow onion½
  • Frozen peas1 cup

Prep step 1

Dice 2½ yellow onions, once

  • 1 for burrito bowls
  • 1 for curry
  • ½ for fried rice

Prep step 2

Cook 2½ cups of rice, once

  • 1 cup for burrito bowls
  • 1½ cups for fried rice

Same food, fewer steps: one pot of rice instead of two, and one round of chopping instead of three.

Buy what the week needs.

Every quantity is scaled to the portions you pick, then combined across recipes. One list, no duplicate onions, and no half bunch of cilantro going soft in the fridge.
